Go-to-Market Engineer – Revenue Systems

We’ve recently raised €1 million to accelerate our next phase of growth. Now, we’re looking for a Go-to-Market Engineer to help us build the engine that will take us there.
Root is an AI-powered platform that helps retail companies to turn scattered, incomplete operational data into compliance, ready-to-go sustainability data. We're already working with companies like Hema, O'Neill and Holland & Barrett, and are now ready to invest into our growth engine.

We’re not hiring a traditional salesperson or marketer. We’re building a scalable go-to-market engine, where growth is systematic, measurable, and repeatable.
You’ll own how Root generates predictable pipeline across outbound, inbound, and marketing channels.
🚀 The Role
As a Go-to-Market Engineer, your job is not to close deals. You’ll be building the infrastructure behind them.
You’ll work directly with the founders to translate ICP insights, market learnings, and sales strategy into scalable acquisition systems across outbound, inbound, and marketing channels.
What you'll do:
Own and build the revenue engine that generates qualified pipeline across outbound, inbound, and multi-channel campaigns
Design our sales infrastructure from scratch, including CRM architecture, lead routing, segmentation, and SDR workflows
Experiment with acquisition channels such as outbound, LinkedIn ads, SEO funnels, webinars, and partner channels
Build and maintain the GTM automation stack, including enrichment, campaign automation, CRM workflows, and attribution tracking
Work closely with the founders to iterate on ICP, messaging, and channel strategy based on real performance data
🛠️ What you'll bring
A systems-builder mindset, with 2–5+ years of experience designing and operating growth, GTM, or revenue systems, ideally in an early-stage SaaS environment
Hands-on experience building automation pipelines, CRM workflows, and acquisition infrastructure from scratch
A strong understanding of multi-channel B2B acquisition (outbound, inbound, and paid), and how these channels work together
Experience with automation and enrichment tools (e.g. Clay, n8n, Make/Zapier, APIs, or similar), and the ability to connect systems end-to-end
A data-driven, experimental mindset, comfortable iterating quickly based on performance and feedback
Comfortable working in ambiguity, taking ownership, and figuring things out without predefined playbooks
